Choc Salted Tahini Fudge

My hubby has a massive thing for tahini so I made him these chocolate coated salted tahini fudges. These are equally delicious on their own but you can make them that extra bit special by covering them with chocolate.


Choc Salted Tahini Fudge

Makes 12-16 (depending on size of moulds)

Gluten free, dairy free, egg free, nut free

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup tahini

  • 3 tablespoons melted coconut oil

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla powder

    Chocolate coating (optional):

  • 80g dark chocolate

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Instructions:

  1. Whisk all ingredients or place in a food processor and process until smooth. Pour into moulds of choice, or the easiest option is to pour it into a container lined with baking paper (approx 15x20cm).

  2. Place in the freezer for a few hours or until set.

  3. Once set melt your chocolate then stir through the coconut oil. If doing the container version pour the chocolate coating on top then place back in the freezer to set.

  4. If using moulds, use two forks to dunk the fudges in to the chocolate to coat then place on a lined baking tray. Place back in the freezer to set.

  5. Store in the freezer as these melt fast.
